CVA Buckland Community led coastal and riparian revitalisation in the Prosser Catchment The purpose of this project is to undertake revegetation activities on a Council owned block on the Prosser River, within the rural Buckland Township. Participants will undertake track work, weed management and revegetation activities, as well as education and interpretation activities focusing on the natural and cultural values in these areas.
CVA New Norfolk Derwent Catchment Green Corps This project aims to protect and enhance the key natural resource management values associated within the Derwent Catchment (Derwent Valley, New Norfolk). The activities to be undertaken include weed control, seed collecting, seed propagation, planting of native vegetation, construction of stock fencing, riparian condition assessments, and working with community groups, landowners and volunteers.
CVA Rocherlea Development and Landscaping at the Northern Suburbs Community Centre This project aims to further develop the gardens and facilities at the Northern Suburbs Community Centre. It plans to provide an attractive meeting place for the community, create a community vegetable garden, and provide community conservation groups with support in managing land. The participants will undertake weed control and revegetation activities, construct walking trails and bridges, undertake the design and establishment of a community vegetable garden, conduct water monitoring, complete a flora and fauna survey, participate in landscaping and develop community facilities.
CVGT Huonville Urban Black Gum Reserve Rehabilitation and Community Education Project The purpose of this project is to preserve the environment of the Black Gum Reserve and educate and promote the good work of the Huon Valley Environment Network in partnership with the Huon Valley Council. Activities include construction of Swift Parrot nesting boxes, propagation, weed control, construction of benches and tables, bridge construction, school environmental education and a community field day.
CVGT Kingston Kingborough Community Coastcare Engagement Project The purpose of this project is to preserve the environment around the Kingborough region and educate the community on environmental values. Activities the team members will undertake as part of this project include track maintenance, coastal vegetation, weed control, plant propagation, a school environmental education day, community consultation, site planning and providing assistance for promotional and tourism resources.
CVGT Victoria Parade Mersey River Estuary Public Open Space Awareness Project This project aims to improve biodiversity, inform local residents and visitors to the Mersey River Estuary about the benefits of high quality public open spaces, and build relationships with members of the Devonport City Council. Activities include construction of a walking track and signage, construction of seating, water quality monitoring, surveying of native flora and fauna, environmental education, revegetation, weed control, fencing and Indigenous cultural education.

Culture and Community

CVA Cygnet There are many buildings of heritage significance in the Cygnet township and there is a need to upgrade some of them to provide better community facilities. Participants will be involved activities such as the renovating and painting of buildings, improving the accessibility of the facilities through landscaping, weeding and revegetating the foreshore and constructing raised garden beds and pathways to assist the Permaculture Association to run courses in gardening for various groups.
Mt Arthur Centre - Burrowing Crayfish Habitat Rehabilitation Conservation Volunteers Australia Mount Arthur The project will not only protect the Mt Arthur mud burrowing crayfish species but also enlighten the local community of the importance of maintaining biodiversity to protect our natural resources. The participants will be involved in activities such as protecting and restoring the habitat of the crayfish through establishing riparian fences, planting native species, removing weeds, establishing fully formed walking tracks and boardwalks and providing interpretive signage to educate visitors. 
Warrawee Shale Mine Heritage Development Conservation

Volunteers Australia

Warrawee A recent bushfire at the Warrawee Forest Reserve in Latrobe exposed a range of archaeological features associated with the shale-mining industry of the early 1900's. This project aims to develop an interpretive trail in the reserve focused on the history of the shale-works. Project activities will include clearing of existing tracks to facilitate access to heritage sites, installing interpretive signage, developing safe walking and disabled access tracks, monitoring water quality and undertaking surveys with GPS equipment.
Valley Street and Communities Heritage Orchard Restoration Project Central Victorian Group Training Limited Mount Stuart This project will support the community heritage orchard to increase community awareness of Tasmania’s heritage fruit and nut orchards, Hobart’s colonial past and links to current initiatives regarding sustainable foods and horticulture. Green Corps participants will be involved in terracing of land and preparing land for fruit and nut trees, mulching and planting trees, making compost bins, researching history of site and heritage orchards, engaging the community in education days and assisting the Sustainable Living Tasmania with preparation for the Sustainable Living Expo.
Community Engagement in the Tolosa Native Nursery and Community Demonstration Garden Central Victorian Group Training Limited  Tolosa The project will support the nursery and garden and increase usage of the site by community groups, schools and individuals. The Green Corps participants will have the opportunity to work with people with special needs to demonstrate sustainable ways of gardening. The project activities include developing a community survey and report, collecting seed, designing and establishing sensory themed gardens, laying gravel paths, landscaping of the demonstration garden beds, developing fact sheets and assisting with the organising of community open days and workshops.
Sustainable Living and Bigger Backyard Biodiversity Project Central Victorian Group Training Limited West Launceston This project will assist the West Launceston Primary School community to further develop the school and Cataract Gorge environment to improve the condition and biodiversity of the environment. The participants will engender an appreciation of the Aboriginal relationship with land and ensure that the green corridor between the Gorge and school sites is enhanced.  Project activities include collecting seed, propagating local provenance plants, planting and mulching, establishing themed garden areas, constructing raised garden beds, undertaking water watch activities and fostering environmental education activities with the students.
